In this age of information and computing we’re bombarded daily with information.

An Ofcom report “Online Nation” published in 2024 the average UK adult spends between 3 and 6.5 hours online per day.

Although there are huge advantages to this access to technology and information we repeatedly see clients who are experiencing overwhelm and burnout which is exacerbated by this never ending ‘to-do’ list. For many people no amount of organising or strategising helps this frantic feeling of overload. Ultimately what we need to teach ourselves to do is to recharge and to find our ‘natural flow’ state. Sometimes we think we’re resting when we’re mindlessly scrolling - we may be physically resting but we’re not necessarily mentally resting.

As artists, sculptors and crafters ourselves in addition to our psychotherapy and counselling practices we know first hand the benefits of stepping away and accessing our creativity without judgement. For this reason we are putting together a series of craft boxes. Each contains a complete project and each is designed for you to take a step off the world and create something.

Our boxes: Craftinabox will soon be available here.
